Club Licensing Announcement

The FAW club licensing First Instance Body (FIB) met in Cardiff today to assess the UEFA and FAW domestic licence applications for the 2014/15 season.

The following clubs were awarded an FAW Domestic Licence and a UEFA licence for the 2014/15 season;

1. Aberystwyth Town
2. Airbus UK Broughton
3. Bala Town
4. Bangor City
5. Carmarthen Town
6. Newtown AFC
7. Prestatyn Town
8. Rhyl FC
9. The New Saints

The following clubs were awarded an FAW Domestic Licence for the 2014/15 season;
1. Cefn Druids FC
2. Haverfordwest County
3. Llandudno Town

The following clubs were refused the FAW Domestic Licence and the UEFA licence for the 2014/15 season;
1. Afan Lido FC
2. Gap Connah’s Quay
3. Port Talbot Town

The following clubs were refused the FAW Domestic Licence for the 2014/15 season;
1. Conwy Borough
2. Flint Town Utd

Those clubs who have been refused a licence by the First Instance Body now have ten days to submit an appeal, with any appeal being heard by Tuesday 22nd April 2014.

The domestic licence is a pre-requisite to participate in the Welsh Premier League for 2014/15 season and the UEFA licence is a pre-requisite to participate in UEFA club competitions in the same season.
