Curtis Jones is over the moon to have signed a contract with The New Saints. After impressing during training, Craig Harrison moved quickly to secure the former Celtic and Bristol City player.
Jones, 20, has been a free agent since the start of the season after an injury ended his stint with Inverness prematurely. However, the young centre half was desperate to get back in the game and was delighted to have signed for the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League champions;
"I am over the moon to have signed a contract. I had a hernia at the start of the season, so therefore I have been without a club but I came here for a week and the gaffer liked me and I a cant wait to start."
The Manchester-born defender added; "I love the way The New Saints play football and it really suits my style. I am only 20 and I am still really young and I am always trying to improve myself.
"I like to play out from the back and as a central defender, the style at this club will suit me. This is like my pre season so as the weeks go on, I will get stronger and stronger and hopefully keep improving."

Jones also revealed that he has settled in really well; "I have settled in well so far. I car share with Jamie Mullan and three of the Scouse lads and there are no egos at the club and everyone is down to earth."
Curtis will wear the number 35 shirt for The Saints.
