First Defeat for Airbus - First Victory for Hughes

At the twelfth time of asking a fellow Corbett Sports WPL club beat Airbus on Friday night.
Two first half goals from Mark Jones (2 mins) and Chris Venables (21 mins) set the Seasiders on their way to a deserved victory.
Steve Abbott did give the league leaders some hope with 15 minutes remaining but it wasn't to be the Wingmakers' night and Assistant Manager Andy Morrison viewed the final quarter of the match from the stand having been removed from the technical area by referee Kris Hames.

Chris Hughes enjoyed his first experience of managing in the WPL as his Newtown side won comfortably at the Deeside Stadium.
A cracking effort by Matthew Hearsey (21m) put the Robins ahead and second half goals from Jeff White, Andy Jones and Craig Williams avenged their late defeat at the hands of the Nomads at Newtown 3 weeks ago. This victory took Chris Hughes' side up into third place in the table.
