Bala Town’s dream became reality as they beat FC Levadia Tallinn 1-0 at Rhyl FC in their first ever European match.

The Lakesiders had the perfect start as Ian Sheridan pounced following a Kenny Lunt corner after only 4 minutes.

The Estonian league leaders who had already played 16 league games this season dominated possession after falling behind but failed to beat Ashley Morris in the Bala goal.

Famous faces such as Dietmar Hamann, Mickey Thomas,Dai Davies, Iwan Roberts and Marc Lloyd Williams were spotted in the crowd of 1287.

Bala Town will now travel to Estonia for the second leg which will be played on Thursday the 11th of July - and Colin Caton believes that Bala can get the result that they eed out in the Estonian capital.

He told BBC Wales: 'We're in the driving seat now. If we get an early away goal - we'll do it. I think that it will be done and dusted if we score early on out there'

Fe gafodd y Cymry’r dechrau perffaith wrth i Ian Sheridan rwydo wedi 4 munud yn unig wedi i gornel Kenny Lunt greu anhrefn yng nghwrt cosbi’r ymwelwyr.

Mae Levadia eisoes wedi chwarae 16 o gemau cynghrair y tymor yma ac meant ar frig y tabl yn Estonia ar hyn o bryd.
